I'm being lazy or busy. Busy because I study Swedish and lazy because it's been too hot these days...I guess. Anyway, here are some photos from today. I don't have a lot of time for stories or long term projects, so I'm mainly shooting street. I love it. Don't know why. It's great to put pieces of a moment together, I believe. Tomorrow, on the 14th of October a sale exhibition will take place in the center of Chisinau, capital of Moldova. The occasion is the Day of Chisinau. The exhibition will be held in front of Opera and Ballet Theatre and all the money from sale will go to an orphanage. Works of many photographers will be displayed, including 3 of my works. The first thing I'd like to "say" after long time of pause in posting is: I'm sorry...I hadn't updated my blog regularly. I've been a bit busy with personal problems, but also had a trip of 2 weeks in Turkey. The photos will come pretty soon. Chisinau has several big malls: Megapolis, Jumbo, SunCity... And there is another one, MallDova. It situated near a bridge that connects the center of Chisinau with Botanica region. It is an amazing, modern architectural construction and it provides a wide range of services: from beauty salons to fast food, restaurants and leisure.

This is a view from the Monastery altitude from Orheiul Vechi complex. It was taken with Canon EOS D60, Canon EF 50 mm, 1.4. I liked the curvy river, the cows far away and some people fishing. Yeah, it's pretty hard to find them... :) Enjoy.

I found the answer to this question by looking at this image for couple of minutes. I liked the immensity of what people believe and the immensity of the power with which they are holding their believes. I took this several years ago on Kodak ProFoto 100 with a Pentax SFXn camera. I just like it. Enjoy.

This is a rosehib bush with the Raut river on background. The same place. I want to make a calendar with the view of Orheiul Vechi, so you'll see some of them on my blog on my way processing them for the calendar. Not many of you heard about our, Moldovan canyon. Yes, we have some of them, mainly small, but this one is really big. The river Raut has caved the limestone for centuries making this majestic beauty of nature. Many tribes representing many civilizations found home on this territory leaving it with ancient foundings, turkish baths and other moments full of history.
